Mesa Mall Celebrates Fall with Drive-Thru Candy Crawl & Concert

Mesa Mall announced today that the town center will celebrate the fall season with the community by hosting a Drive-Thru Candy Crawl event. Now that the school year is underway and fall is here, Mesa Mall is excited to host a festive gathering on Saturday, October 31 from Noon-2pm.

Candy Crawl offers a fun, safe place for local families to trick-or-treat. Mesa Mall will host the annual event outside this year for the safety of the community and will include a free pumpkin (for the first 300 vehicles), a take-home art kit by local artist Jamie Christine, a ‘Trunk or Treat’ comprised of Mesa Mall businesses and other local organizations, and an optional drive-in concert featuring James Williams and the Faith Peddlers.

“With all of the unique challenges that we have faced this year, Mesa Mall is excited to provide an opportunity to come together to enjoy the fall season through Candy Crawl” said Paul Petersen, General Manager of Mesa Mall. “We are passionate about serving as a gathering space for our community, and now more than ever, we are proud to be a place where families, friends, and the community can safely connect with each other in a unique way this year.”

If a local business or organization would like to participate in the ‘Trunk or Treat’ section, please contact Caitlyn Love, Marketing Director for Mesa Mall, at the contact information above.

Mesa Mall remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In response to the continued need to address COVID-19, the Center has proactively implemented additions to the Code of Conduct, effective until further notice. These additions include the following guidelines:

  • Practice social distancing and stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) from other people.
  • Covering your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover in accordance with state and local guidelines.
  • Do not gather in groups.
  • Adhere to each individual tenant’s COVID-19 policies.
  • Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations, recommendations and mandates regarding COVID-19.

In addition, Mesa Mall’s already rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices will continue, many times per day, including periodically disinfecting areas most susceptible to the spread of germs. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers are located in highly-trafficked areas and walkways for public use.

Mesa Mall remains committed to supporting the local Grand Junction community through providing unique experiences year-round. The safety of guests and tenants alike remains the town center’s top focus, and a drive-thru Candy Crawl is just one example of Mesa Mall’s ongoing efforts to maintain their role as a community lifestyle center no matter the circumstances.
