Summer Cinema Series presented by Alpine Bank : The Croods

Enjoy a summer cinema series under the stars, from the comfort of your own vehicle! The Summer Cinema Series, presented by Alpine Bank, is brought to the Grand Junction community in partnership with Community Food Bank, and will be located in the Sutherlands parking lot at Mesa Mall.

Entry to each cinema listed above is accepted with a canned food donation OR cash donation. Attendees can donate items listed below upon entry to the lot :

  • Canned vegetables (low sodium)
  • Canned fruit (no syrup/sugar added)
  • Canned tuna
  • Peanut butter
  • Pasta & Pasta Sauce
  • Macaroni & Cheese & Rice-a-Roni meals
  • Granola bars
  • Oatmeal packets
  • Condiments (salad dressing, ketchup, mustard, etc.)
  • Spices (salt, pepper, misc. other spices)
  • Baby food & formula (nothing beyond expiration date)
  • Cash donation

Attendees will enter at the Sutherlands site closest to Buffalo Wild Wings. All are encouraged to arrive at Mesa Mall through the south entrances near McDonalds, IHOP, and Buffalo Wild Wings. Entrance off of Patterson will not be permitted.

Online registration for all films are required, as parking spots are limited each month. Click the link below to register for this months' film. Parking spots cannot and will not be reserved, and vehicles will be parked in order of which they arrive to the lot the evening of the film. Cars will not be permitted to enter the cinema after the start time of the film.

Along with the film, there will also be food trucks each month for attendees to order food from.

Attendees will be encouraged to remain in their vehicles during the film or bring their own blankets/chairs to sit directly outside of their vehicle. A vehicle is required to enter this event - no walk up traffic is allowed.
